Personal Unit Overview: What did you achieve this unit?

I achieved the knowledge of knowing the Industrial Revolution and why it affected the world. I also learnt how it spreaded across the world and how it rapidly modernized the world, giving birth to our modern society.

Enduring Understandings: How did the European Industrial Revolution affect society?

It basically shaped the world we live in today through technology, work, the way we live (large cities). Huge industries also popped up due to advancements in tools and equipments, making it easier and cheaper to produce products. However, the industrial revolution also affected the world in a bad way, where industries and the urge to produce things are emitting greenhouse gasses, making the earth warmer (climate change).

Area of strength: Which standard was your strength and why?

  • Analyze and describe the significance of the European Industrial Revolution

Europe kick started the revolution, eventually exploiting other nations and places, spreading the industrial influence around the globe.

Area of growth: Which standard needs improvement and how can you improve for the future ?

  • Uses multiple sources to synthesize and integrate information

I’m bad at citing many sources for my work, making it less credible and more like a copy of the original article.

Evidence: What evidence do you have of your learning?

My test, I aced it, A+
